Lindow 10 recreate famous shots

Local residents and visitors to Wilmslow may have been surprised by recent photographic activity, as various places within the town were used as sets by a group of local photographers.

Entitled "in the style of", Lindow 10 were set a project by their photography tutor Richard Weston which involved emulating well known shots by famous photographers using local locations and people. Diane Arbus, Helmut Newton and Alfred Stieglitz were all given the Lindow 10 treatment with stunning results, using locations as varied as The Green Room, the back of a bank and the top of a multi storey car park.

Richard Weston said "The students excelled themselves in their creative and technical approaches to the subject".

The Lindow 10 are now into the final term, working towards membership of the Royal Photographic Society and The Master Photographers Association.
