Wilmslow Town’s U9’s in true derby

With two of Wilmslow Town’s U9 teams now in the same divisions, there was always going to be an interesting fixture in the calendar. After the two week half term break there was all to play for and in a close match the Cougars won by the odd goal. On the score sheet for the Cougars were Greensmith, Archer, Ford and Gozem. For the Jaguars there were goals from Williams (2) and McEwen-Patterson.

Another local derby saw the U11 Panthers entertain Alderley United. With little to trouble them the Panthers won 4 - 1 with goals from McAndry, Vitale, Wheeler and Sach.

Travelling to Broadheath, the U10 Jaguars registered a good 2 - 1 win with goals from Craft and Jain.

For the U12 Panthers, U15’s and U16’s the weekends results mean that all retain their positions at the top of their respective leagues. The U12 Panthers were at home to Urmston Town and with an all round team performance scored 6 thanks to McKew (2), Sciple, Saks, Short and Harris.

Swindells notched up another hat trick for the U15’s in their 5 - 0 win against Sale United. The other goals coming from Johnson and Storey. For the U16’s Davies, Grainger and Holmes were on target in their 3 - 1 win against Flixton.
