Lindow 10 exhibit their passion for photography

A group of local photographers have put together their first exhibition which will be on show at Wilmslow library from 4th October until 15th October.

The Lindow 10 are all working towards full membership of the Royal Photographic Society or the Master Photographer's Association and have only been together as a group for a few weeks. All ten members have previously belonged to various classes taught by Richard Weston of Weston Digital Imaging.

Brenda Acton explained "We meet on a regular basis and through a series of challenges and critiques we are aiming to improve our technical and artistic skills. Drawn from different backgrounds, of different ages and with a wealth of different experiences, the one thing we have in common is our passion for photography."

This first exhibition, entitled 'As We See It', illustrates some of the current expertise of the group and features a collection of photographs which Brenda describes as "our individual interpretations of Richard's efforts to get us to see the world in pictures."

Above are a selection of photographs by members of Lindow 10, visit Wilmslow library from next Monday to view the exhibition or call 01625 374060 for further information.
