
Following the discovery of human blood at Twinnies Bridge Car Park, in the early hours of Wednesday 18th August, Cheshire Police have informed us that the investigation is now closed.
Detective Sergeant Iain Madden said "The owner of the blood has since been identified and they are safe and well.
"Nobody else was involved in the incident and there is nothing for members of the public to be concerned about.
"The police are satisfied that all is well so the police investigation has been closed."
Police Officers discovered the 'puddle' of blood just after 1am last Wednesday and cordoned off a section of the Twinnies Bridge Car Park, near the footbridge running over the River Bollin.
No further comment will be made regarding this incident.
