Appeal after street robbery

Detectives in Wilmslow are appealing for help after a man was robbed in the street. At about 2am on Sunday 4th July 2010, two brothers were on Hawthorn Lane in Wilmslow, making their way home from a night out. They were followed onto Kennerleys Lane by three hooded males who then stopped them and demanded any items of value from them.

When they refused the offenders produced knives, resulting in the brothers handing over their wallets, a mobile phone and a wristwatch. The offenders left the wallets and phone, but stole the watch, which was a Christopher Ward watch with a silver case and brown leather strap.

The offenders are described as white males, all wearing dark clothes and hooded tops. One was described as being approximately 5'11" tall with a lanky build, aged between 16 and 17 yrs. He was clean shaven, with a thin face and thin nose with short (possibly dyed) blonde hair. He spoke with a Manchester accent.

If you have information that could help find these men, please contact DC Andrew Harwood or one of his colleagues at Wilmslow CID on 0845 458 0000, or alternatively Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
