Fire crews were called to a fire at commercial property in Handforth in the early hours of this morning.

Two fire engines attended the fire on Wilmslow Road shortly after midnight.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish it.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire & Rescue said "The building was evacuated and a thorough check was made of all floors. A fire investigation took place and it is believed the fire started accidentally due to electrical cabling."
