Alderley Edge School for Girls Prep School is launching a new Bursary Scheme, aimed at providing financial assistance to new pupils joining the school, aged 4-11 who would excel and benefit from an AESG, all-girls education. This initiative underscores the school's commitment to inclusivity and excellence in education.

The Bursary Scheme will offer means tested financial support to support a limited number of eligible pupils entering Reception to Year 6, ensuring that a wide range of young learners can access the high-quality education and enriching experiences that AESG Prep School provides. The bursaries will cover a portion of tuition fees allowing families to put their child's academic journey first without the burden of financial constraints.

Alderley Edge School for Girls Headmistress, Mrs Caroline Wood, said: "We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive academically, regardless of their financial situation. This bursary scheme reflects our dedication to nurturing talent and fostering a diverse and vibrant school community, something which we are passionate about."

Alderley Edge School for Girls invites families to come and have a tour of the school either by the Prep School Open Week, (14 – 18 October 2024) or on a personal tour. The application process is designed to be straight forward, with a focus on assessing individual circumstances and the potential for both academic achievement and the family's commitment to the school. The school encourages all interested families to visit the website at https://www.aesg.co.uk/admissions/bursaries for detailed information on eligibility criteria and the application process.

The launch of the Bursary Scheme is part of Alderley Edge School for Girls' broader mission to promote equity in education and ensure that all children, regardless of their background, can benefit from an exceptional educational experience. The school is committed to maintaining high standards and providing personalised support to help each pupil reach her full potential.
