A Wilmslow based Toiletry Bank received a visit from the High Sheriff of Cheshire who commented "An amazing charity changing people's lives for the better."

Clare Hayward MBE DL visited Bare Necessities Toiletry Bank where she was shown the type of toiletry and hygiene products recipients of the tote bags receive.

Volunteers and trustees explained how products are packed into age and gender specific bags and delivered monthly to 35 charities in the Cheshire East and Manchester area, including women's, youth & schools, mother & baby, food banks and street homeless.

Clare commented "What an impressive team, We loved understanding your purpose, how you operate and to see the passion, enthusiasm and high level of capability. Amazing!"

The charity relies on the generosity of people within Cheshire to donate both products, money and time. If you can buy an extra toiletry in your weekly shop or have any unused, unwanted makeup and toiletries, full sized or minis please drop them off into the donation boxes. Locations can be found on the website.
