Wilmslow Town Council is seeking residents' feedback on a possible Community Hub at Cheshire East Council-owned Wilmslow Library.

In 2019, following a referendum, the Wilmslow Neighbourhood Plan was adopted by the Town Council. The Neighbourhood Plan includes an aspiration to create a Community Hub in the centre of the town, focused on the Wilmslow Library site. This was envisaged to include, but not be limited to, an arts shop, visitor information, café, creche, meeting / workshop rooms and a small multipurpose auditorium.

Wilmslow Town Council have created a short survey to gauge an understanding of the types of things residents might want to see in such a Community Hub, particularly where residents believe activities are not currently supported adequately in either in the town centre or wider community.

Town Mayor, Councillor Tim Higgins, said, "I would like to encourage as many residents as possible to take a few minutes to complete our survey. We are keen to get this feedback to prioritise our plans over the coming years."

To complete the survey, visit: https://www.wilmslowtowncouncil.gov.uk/librarysurvey/. Alternatively, paper copies can be requested via the Wilmslow Town Council offices at the Parish Hall.

The survey closing date is 29th July 2024.
