Browns Brasserie & Bar will be opening their new Wilmslow eatery on 27th June.

The Grade II listed 18th Century building, previously occupied by Miller & Carter Steakhouse on Station Road, has undergone a major renovation featuring cosy corners along with expansive, light-filled spaces.

Open all day from breakfast through to dinner, Browns serve classic British comfort dishes and fresh seasonal creations, with traditional afternoon teas every day, along with fresh lobster Monday to Saturday, weekend Champagne bottomless brunches and traditional roasts with live piano on Sundays. Children's menus are available.

If this is as popular as the original 'Browns' in Brighton it should be a great hit and a definite upgrade

I seem to remember this building as the vicarage and personally I hate the word 'eatery'.

I guess it isn't "another eating place" if it is a rebranding of an existing one by the group that owns both Browns and Miller & Carter which was there before. I have seen their menu and no mention of fried poodle on there so I'm fairly certain it will be a canine free meat selection!

Used to enjoy my visits there in the early 90's to visit my client Scholes PLC. Lovely old building.
