Wilmslow Police have issued a dispersal order for Handforth, Wilmslow & Alderley Edge after a group of youths caused a disturbance last night (Saturday, 13th April).

The dispersal order was put in place at approximately 9.30pm whilst officers were dealing with an incident involving a group of 40 - 50 youngsters who had gathered at a property in Handforth.

This resulted in one young person being arrested for criminal damage caused to a police vehicle.

A dispersal order enables officers and PCSOs to direct a person who has engaged - or is deemed likely to engage - in anti-social behaviour, to leave a specified area and not to return for a period of 48 hours.

PCSO Gareth Harding said "It applies to anyone acting in an anti-social manner within that period in those areas."

He added "If anyone has experienced any issues relating to this incident that we do not already know about & wishes to report them they can do so via 101."
