At 10pm on Monday 15th January police were made aware of reports of a man who appeared to be acting suspiciously on Meriton Road, Handforth.
A police spokesperson said "The man appeared to be taking photos of a car, but fled the scene after another vehicle pulled into the street."
PCSO Harding posted "I've been doing some follow up enquiries following a report of a suspicious male on Meriton Road late last night, believed to have been looking at vehicles.
"It's important to report suspicious activity to police - this could be anything you perceive to be out of the ordinary. Take as much information as possible (such as descriptions of people involved, exact time and date and registrations, colours and makes of vehicles) and telephone 101 or visit https://orlo.uk/9kj8w."
