Plans have been submitted to extend a building in Handforth and change the use of the first floor from offices to residential.
The proposal includes extending the side and rear of the buiulding at 55-57 Wilmslow Road, converting the existing first floor office accommodation to residential and providing a second floor within roof space.
The accommodation will consist of 12 new apartments - 10 of which will be one bedroom units along with 2 two-bedroom units.
The existing vehicular access and car park will be retained.
The building is currently occupied by a computer sales and repair shop on the ground floor with two office spaces on the first floor, for both a toy company and a financial advisor.
The plans can be viewed on the Cheshire East Council website by searching for planning reference 23/4491M.
