Residents of Wilmslow (RoW) have taken every seats on Wilmslow Town Council.
Prior to the election the council comprised of 10 Conservatives, 4 RoW and 1 Liberal Democrat but now all 15 seats will be occupied by RoW members.
The results of the May 4th elections were:

- Jack Illingworth - Local Conservatives - 542 votes
- Ellie Jackson - Residents of Wilmslow - 945 votes Yes
- Jon Newell - Residents of Wilmslow - 979 votes Yes
- Angela Smethurst - Local Conservatives - 501 votes
Turnout = 28.89%

- Nigel Halford - Local Conservatives - 352 votes
- Chris Hilliard - Residents of Wilmslow - 677 votes Yes

It's especially rewarding to see that not too many people were hoodwinked by the "Local Conservative" party description, and that the results in favour of RoW weren't even that close.
We've listened to all your many varied concerns, from pot-holed roads, to cycle paths,to car parking etc and hope to give you the satisfaction you desire but could not obtain from other sources.Our councilors will deliver by our maxim, long neglected by others, doing What is Good for Wilmslow,
