Please tell me about yourself - occupation, where you live, interests, family?

I am a Wellbeing Lead so I look after the health and wellbeing of employees. I am a registered nutritionist and I have a passion for improving people's health as well as loving to cook! I live on Barlow Road, Wilmslow and recently moved here from bramhall with my wife. We have been around Wilmslow for many years with my mother and father in law living here for over 30 years

How long you have lived in there?

I live on Barlow Road, Wilmslow and recently moved here from bramhall in december with my wife. We have been around Wilmslow for many years with my mother and father in law living here for over 30 years

Are you a member of any local groups or societies?

Not as of yet. I am planning to get more involved with sports clubs

Why have you decided to stand for election as a town councillor?

I think there is so much more for Wilmslow and I believe the residents can benefit better from the local area with the countryside but also a more local feel to the shops, bars and restaurants promoting independent businesses

What do you consider to be the important issues facing Wilmslow?

I think the car centric approach to the town is causing issues. More pot holes, inconsiderate parking and a lack of cycle/walkways accessing the town centre and beyond.

What do you hope to achieve and how in the next 4 years?

I hope to achieve an increase in local, independent businesses with great walking access around the town centre. It would be great to help organise some community events as well to bring the whole Wilmslow community together

What experience and personal qualities will you bring to the role?

I am new to this type of role but I believe I am someone who fights for what people want. I am driven, enthusiastic and believe I can bring a new approach to the town council. I have experience of working with communities, businesses and local government.

Why should Lacey Green Ward residents vote for you?

I am a resident first and foremost who can see the issues residents are facing. I am not hear to just listen to concerns but put the thoughts and feelings of residents across to make Wilmslow a better place to live.
