Police investigate spate of Wilmslow burglaries over festive period

Police are investigating a series of burglaries which occurred in Wilmslow over the festive period.

Between 5pm on 21st December and 2pm on 22nd December a TV and drill were stolen from a house under renovation on Strawberry Lane. (incident number 22000942182).

Offenders burnt the lock of a rear door on Nursery Lane between 11:30pm on 31st December and 11:30pm on 2nd January. (incident number 23000008327).

Between 31st December and 1st January a grey BMW was stolen from Gravel Lane. A back door lock was snapped to enter the house and steal the car keys. (incident number 23000006447

At 3:15am on 1st January three people wearing balaclavas were seen running from an address on Oak Lane. They left by wheel-spinning a car towards Racecourse Road. A rear door lock was damaged. (incident number 23000010524)

In the early hours of 1st January unknown offenders attempted to enter a property on Albert Road by using a tool to damage the lock of a back door. (incident number 23000007392)

There was an attempt was made to break into a garage on Nursery Lane between 4pm on 2nd January and 8am on 3rd January by breaking the lock. Nothing was taken. (incident number 23000011980).

Between approximately 2:40am and 3:00am on the 3rd January a VW Golf was stolen from Vale Road. Offenders took keys after burning a lock to enter the house.

Enquiries in relation to all the incidents are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire police on 101 quoting the incident numbers above.
