A 23-year-old has been arrested after a police chase from Wilmslow came to end in Levenshulme when he collided with a pedestrian.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said "At 10.15pm on Monday 10 October police stopped a car on the A34 Wilmslow. As officers approached the vehicle it made off. Officers followed the car onto the A6 in Levenshulme. The car collided with a pedestrian and came to a stop. The pedestrian is believed to have minor injuries.
"The driver of the car, a 23-year-old man from Manchester, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop, taking a vehicle without consent, possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs, possession of cash which was seized as proceeds of crime, driving while disqualified, and having no insurance. Enquiries are continuing."
