A 50-year-old local man was arrested at 8pm on Thursday 16th June on suspicion of threats to commit criminal damage, possession of a bladed article and public order.
A 29-year-old woman was walking her dog near Alderley Edge Golf Course on Monday, 13th June, when she was approached by a man. He threatened to kill the dog while in possession of a bladed object.
PCSO 23417 James Hails said "We are also looking at other incidents related to this man, all in Wilmslow or Alderley Edge and are in the process of taking statements from those victims."
