Junior rugby players help plant 300 trees

After a morning rugby training on Sunday, 13th March, the 'Junior Wolves' of Wilmslow Rugby Club engaged with volunteers from 'Transition Wilmslow' to plant some 300 trees along the River Bollin perimeter fence.

WRUFC Chairman John Hitch, whose grandson joined them to help out, said "This is a great opportunity the boys and girls of Wilmslow RUFC as a community club, have taken to engage with Transition Wilmslow, National Trust and The Bollin Valley Partnership in planting these trees to improve all our enjoyment of this fabulous local space to improve the environment for years to come.

"We are all very proud of their commitment to this fantastic cause."
