Symphony Orchestra to play first concert of the year

Wilmslow Symphony Orchestra are preparing for their first concert in 2022.

Patricia Quirk said "We are delighted to welcome for the first time, our conductor Helen Harrison. The first half of the programme, pairs the ever-popular Sibelius' Finlandia with Brahms' spectacular Violin Concerto.

"We are delighted to welcome back, Sophie Rosa, to play the Brahms Concerto."

The orchestra will be led by Rosy Williams and the concert will take place in the Evans Theatre at Wilmslow Leisure Centre commencing at 7.45 ppm on Saturday 12th February.

Tickets cost £12 (concessions £10, under 18s only £2) and can be bought at the door, from the Ticket Secretary at 01925 756144, through the Wilmslow Symphony Orchestra website www.wilmsloworchestra.co.uk, and also at Bang & Olufsen, Alderley Road, Wilmslow (01625 527666), or at Therapy, Bank Square, Wilmslow (01625 400113).
