Police were called to an attempted burglary at a property on Broadway in Wilmslow at 7pm on Thursday 25th November.
The occupant was alerted to a man trying to gain access by reaching through the cat flap and attempting to unlock the door.
The man heard the occupant and fled the area with another man.
The pair, wearing black hooded tops, were seen heading towards the playing fields.
