Police were called to reports of a burglary at an address on Cedarway, Wilmslow at 7am on Monday 8th November.
A policespokesperson said "The caller reported that sometime between 10.30pm on Sunday 7th and 6.45am on Monday 8th November an unknown person forced entry into the address via the rear entrance.
"They then stole the keys to a white BMW X5 and fled the scene in the vehicle."
