A 17-year-old male was left injured after being hit by car which failed to stop in Wilmslow town centre.
The teenager was crossing the road when he was hit by a black Range Rover just after 2pm on Thursday, 4th November.
A police spokesperson said "At 2.20pm on Thursday 4 November police were called to a collision on Parsonage Green in Wilmslow. The collision involved a black Range Rover and a pedestrian.
"A man was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital by ambulance with injuries to his back.
"The vehicle did not stop at the scene of the collision and enquiries are ongoing to locate the driver.
"Anyone with information is asked to submit it via Cheshire Constabulary's website quoting IML 1124468."
