Cars stolen during two recent burglaries

Two cars were stolen during recent burglaries in Wilmslow and Handforth.

Police were called to reports of a burglary on Dean Road, Handforth at 8.30pm on Thursday 7th September.

A police spokesperson said "The caller reported that an unknown person had forced entry into the address via a side window.

"Once inside the offenders stole the keys to a black Volkswagen Golf before fleeing the scene in the vehicle.

The incident is reported to have occurred sometime between 7.30am and 8.20am on Thursday 7th September.

Then on Friday 8th October police were called to reports of a burglary at an address on Knutsford Road, Wilmslow.

A police spokesperson said "An unknown person forced entry into the address via rear patio doors and conducted an untidy search of the address and stole unknown items."

The offenders stole a blue Volkswagen Golf from outside the address.

Enquiries in relation to both of the incidents are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire police on 101 quoting IML-1102430 and IML-1102658 respectively.
