Burglars target two unoccupied properties in Wilmslow on the same day

Police received a call reporting a burglary at an address on Broad Walk in Wilmslow at 5.30pm on Monday, 20th September.

Officers attended to the property to find the house had been thoroughly searched by offender(s).

A police spokesperson said "The occupants were not in at the time the burglary took place and it is unclear at this stage what has been stolen.

"Officers have conducted house-to-house enquiries and the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Constabulary via the website and quote IML 1089580."

Later the same day, police were called to reports of a burglary at an address on Kings Road at 8.45pm.

Offender (s) are believed to have entered via the bedroom window while the house was unoccupied at some time between 10.30am and 5pm. The property was searched and jewellery, money and two laptops were stolen.
