Plans have been submitted to enable a boxing club to open in Wilmslow.
Permission is being sought to convert an existing single storey outbuilding at 2A Hawthorn Walk for leisure use as a boxing club operating in association with the adjacent gym.
The proposal includes an extension, which will double the internal floorspace, along with alterations to the front of the property comprising glazed sliding entrance doors, which is matched with the glazed entrance to the extension.
The application site is currently a workshop/storage building that has been used in connection with the car dealership which previously occupied the adjacent premises.
The application states "The proposals will make beneficial use of a vacant local commercial premises to facilitate their business expansion, offering welcome leisure and fitness facility, supporting the post pandemic recovery."
