A serious road traffic collision occurred at 00.35 hours this morning, Monday April 5th, on Church Street Wilmslow, at the junction with Mill Street.
A Skoda car left the road and came to rest in the War Memorial Gardens. Sadly the driver and sole occupant of the Skoda, a 52 year old local male from Wilmslow later died at Wythenshawe Hospital.
Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses to this collision and can be contacted at Wilmslow's roads policing unit on 01244 613641.
