Residents report hearing loud bangs in Handforth

Police are investigating after receiving several reports recently of a loud bang occurring in Handforth, usually at around 7pm.

PCSO Gareth Harding said "This has been reported in the Bulkeley Road & Woodlands Road area. This has been happening on & off since before Christmas."

Anyone with information is requested to get in touch, either by calling 101, or giving the details online.

I have heard it ,and it is always once,a very loud bang. Makes me jump.

After a gap of a few days, there it is again tonight, Friday 12th, at around 7:15pm. It is coming from the Bulkeley Road area. We have had several sticks from spent fireworks in our garden since Christmas.
