An 8-year-old boy from Wilmslow climbed the stairs at his home 3828 times last month to raise money for NHS Charities Together because he wanted to help people affected by Covid-19.
Sacha took on the challenge in honour of Captain Sir Tom Moore's inspiring legacy.
His mother Amelia said "He climbed the stairs 147 times a day which is over 1100 feet! In doing so, he completed an ascent and descent of Mount Everest... whilst doing his best to fit in some home learning."
Sacha has raised £881 for NHS Charities Together to support the NHS staff, volunteers and patients impacted by Covid-19 across the UK.
Amelia added "After hearing the very sad news of Captain Sir Tom Moore's death, Sacha decided to pay tribute to his inspirational legacy by undertaking a personal walk of his own and is so proud of how his efforts will go towards making a real different to the NHS!"
