Police were called to reports that a 25-year-old woman had been assaulted in Wilmslow at 6.30pm on Wednesday, 2nd December.
The victim reported that she was walking along the path from the scout hut on Dean Drive to Colshaw when she was approached from behind and pushed against a wall by an unknown person, she did not see the suspect at any point.
The victim sustained minor bruising to her face and hands as a result of the incident.
