Firefighters were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision in Swan Street shortly after midnight this morning (Wednesday, 17th June)
Crews from Wilmslow and Poynton attended and found that someone was trapped following the collision, and that one of the vehicles involved had also collided with an electrical box.
They made the vehicles safe and used specialist cutting equipment to get the casualty out of their vehicle.
The casualty was then handed over to the care of paramedics.
Firefighters were in attendance for around an hour-and-a-half.
