Firefighters are urging people not to start fires as they are taking up their vital resources which are already stretched due to the current coronavirus pandemic.
They are reminding people of the dangers of starting fires and appealing to members of the public to report deliberate fires to the Police or Crime Stoppers following a recent spike in the Dean Road area of Wilmslow.
A spokesperson for Wilmslow Fire Station said "These take us away from real emergencies and can be very unsettling for the community."
