Residents in Cheshire are being given the chance to "Brief the Chief" by taking part in local mobile roadshows. Local people will be encouraged to record their views on what they think of their local policing services via an interactive video booth, which will form the centre piece of the roadshow.
People who go to the roadshow will also be able to chat to their local community support officer and meet representatives of the Police Authority who will be consulting people on what areas of policing they feel the police should concentrate on.
The set of events will span the whole of Cheshire with the Brief the Chief feature allowing members of the public to express their views and opinions on policing in Cheshire. The road show will be at Bank Square in Wilmslow on Tuesday 30th March from 11am-3pm.
Cheshire Police and the Authority are keen to understand and act on the views of local people and is appealing to people who are out and about in the area to seek out the exhibition and give their views.
The force is interested in hearing what residents think of the local police using their own experiences and encourage suggestions on how policing in Cheshire can be improved locally.
