On 27th February 2018 we published an article on our Wilmslow and Alderley Edge sites which may have been misinterpreted as reporting that Huntsmere Limited had "gone bust".
To clarify, Cheshire Contracting Wilmslow Limited - which until January 2018 was called Huntsmere Projects Limited - entered into voluntary liquidation this month.
In December 2017, Wilmslow-based Huntsmere Projects Limited was fined after one of their bricklayers fell through the floor of a £4.5million mansion which they were constructing on Congleton Road in 2014.
Huntsmere have informed us that Cheshire Contracting Wilmslow Limited had no live projects and no employees and was no longer trading. They have also confirmed that there is no impact on the ongoing projects being undertaken by the Huntsmere Group or its trading generally and we are sorry to Huntsmere, its employees and clients for any undue concerns our article may have caused.
