Tatton MP George Osborne joined the Wilmslow Guild for classes to celebrate the 91st anniversary of their foundation.
Mr Osborne was shown around by Guild Principal Paul Riordan, meeting members who were attending a dance session and a jewellery making class.
George said "It's great to see people learning new skills, enjoying their hobbies and making friends. The Wilmslow Guild is a fantastic organisation with a real community spirit. I hope as many local people as possible will come down and try a class in their 91st anniversary year."
The Wilmslow Guild provides a centre for adult education with classes ranging from beekeeping to pottery and calligraphy to French. Classes take place throughout the week and on certain weekends. Visit www.wilmslowguild.org for more information.
