Day of baking sunshine for Tilly's charity cake sale

A nine-year old girl spent all weekend baking to support her dad who was diagnosed with MS 18 months ago.

Tilly Johnson baked around 15 different cakes, biscuits and fairy buns which she served with tea, coffee and juice at her cake sale in aid of the MS Trust.

The event was held in the back garden of her Wilmslow home in the glorious sunshine on Sunday, 8th May. Around 70 people came along during the afternoon helping to raise £350 for the charity.

Her dad Paul Johnson is doing a skydive in June, to raise money for the MS Trust, so Tilly wanted to do something too, and has been busy writing recipes and preparing for the cake sale.

Tilly said "I really wanted to do something to support my daddy, because he's going to jump out of an aeroplane and I want everyone to support him."

If you would like to support Tilly and make a donation to the MS Trust you can do so via Paul's fundraising page
