A church in Handforth was broken into last week and approximately £100 in cash was stolen.
Thieves broke into Saint Chads Church on Wilmslow Road some time between 3pm on Friday, 1st April, and 9am on Saturday 2nd.
They gained entry by forcing open a window and caused extensive damage to the internal doors.
Cheshire Police are active progressing all lines of enquiry and request that anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity report it to the Police on 101.
