A long established independent shoe shop opened the doors of its new, larger premises in Wilmslow town centre today (Wednesday, 9th March).
Haslams, which has been trading from its Alderley Road shop since 1980, has made the move to 49 Grove Street - which was previously occupied by Lotus Five and Royles triathlon store.
Owner Paul Haslam explained "We have outgrown our previous shop and this has been planned for a few years now. The right shop came available at the right time, and we are all very excited and look forward to welcoming our regular customers and hope to see a few new faces too.
"The new showroom is twice the size of the old shop and therefore we can expand its offering to include more brands and a wider selection of footwear than ever before."

With over 30 years in business here is proof that Service/Reputation is key, especially for independants.

Since becoming a convert, I realise virtually everyone I know shops there! It is also one of the few stores both my Mum and I both shop in- so their cross generational appeal has to help their success. Occasionally we even buy the same shoe!
I hope the new venue helps the business grow and increases the number of customers who find this (now not so) hidden gem!
