Entries are already being accepted for The 26th ASICS Wilmslow Half Marathon which will take place on Sunday 28th of February 2010. Although the closing date isn't until February you are strongly advised to enter as early as possible to try and guarantee acceptance. The number of entries is limited due to restrictions on car parking and the race is always oversubscribed.
Malcolm Fowler told us "We will be accepting a maximum of 4,500 entries and already we have over 1,000. I anticipate the race will be full by the end of the year."
The Wilmslow Half Marathon will again incorporate the England Half Marathon Championship and regularly attracts some of the North's leading road runners, celebrities and hundreds of locals.
It is a huge fundraising event with Mencap being the official charity for Wilmslow 2010. Mencap sponsonsorship packs will be sent to all entrants who indicate they would like to raise money for this worthy cause.
To register visit the Wilmslow Half Marathon web site or visit the Running Bear shop in Alderley Edge.

Any further entries received are likely to be returned as there are now only a handful of entries reserved for elite England Half Marathon competitors.
