Wilmslow Police have issued an appeal for witnesses in regard to unconnected incidents which occurred last week.
On Wednesday, 2nd September, at 5.30pm a male made inappropriate sexual comments to a teenage girl on Sagers Road in Handforth. Police are seeking information to identify the male responsible and believe that a similar incident occurred the day before at the same time and location involving a different teenage girl.
An incident of indecent exposure occurred on Black Path, Colshaw Farm at 6pm on Friday, 4th September. Police have confirmed that a 15-year-old male has been interviewed regarding this matter and enquiries are ongoing in relation to this.
A police spokesperson said "The two incidents are not connected, and we must stress that neither are connected to the rape at John Lewis the other week."
Anyone with any information should contact Wilmslow Police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
