At 2.54pm on Thursday, 16th July, police were called to St Francis Hall Flats on Twinnies Road following reports of concerns for the welfare of a 40-year-old man.
An air ambulance also attended the incident and the man was taken to hospital but sadly passed away.
A police spokesperson said "There are no suspicious circumstances and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
