Members of a local Weight Watchers group have raised £450 for a little boy from Ormskirk who was born without any hearing.
Theo's parents are raising funds to enable him to have an Auditory Brainstem Implant and, as there are only a handful of specialist surgeons who are able to implant a tiny device, the operation would to need be done in Italy.
The group started off at the Bulls Head in Handforth and walked to local pubs in Styal, Mobberley and Wilmslow.
Weight Watchers leader June Bailey said "Having had my first grandchild just a few weeks younger than Theo I felt compelled to do something to help."
June's grandson also joined them on the walk.
