The Dogfather: If you have a dog problem help is at hand

IMG_1908

A huge thank you to all those dogs that trusted me to deal with their issues at Sunday's Teggs Nose Behaviour Clinic. Some simply suffered from lack of training while others had real fears and phobias blighting their lives.

Many of the owners were stunned by the dramatic improvement in their dog's behaviour but it isn't magic... it's Leadership. Most of the dogs I rehabilitate have never had a leader to help them deal with the world around them. They live their lives in permanent stress.

It isn't good for them or their owners who are often equally stressed trying to deal with their dog's unstable behaviour.

Dogs are sociable animals they must be to be accepted into a pack. Antisocial dogs are rejected by their own kind so when a dog is antisocial it knows it to be wrong. It just doesn't know how to get back into balance. That's where I usually come into the picture.

Once you lead an antisocial dog back into balance they ALWAYS follow. They begin to gain acceptance from other dogs so it feels right. Anyone who has rehabilitated an antisocial dog will know the joy of seeing him finally accepted by others.

If you missed my Behaviour Clinic last Sunday I am running a Trainers Workshop on Saturday May 16 at Morley green Club in Wilmslow and I could use one or two unbalanced dogs to help me demonstrate the rehabilitation process. If you'd like me to work with your dog text me on 07590-560012 or email me at: [email protected].

The following Saturday May 23 I'll have another Behaviour Clinic at Astbury Mere Visitor Centre Congleton where I'll have a full team off trainers plus my pack waiting to help you and your dog. Contact me via the above and we can arrange an appointment the only cost being a £10 donation to Animal support Volunteers.
