A dry cleaners has closed after trading for three decades in Wilmslow town centre.

Spruce Dry Cleaners on Church Street closed on Thursday, 26th February, but will remain open for collections until Saturday, 7th March.

John Man who has run the business for 30 years wanted to thank those customers who have used their service for many years.

Speaking about why he has decided to close the dry cleaners John said "Things have changed a lot in Wilmslow. It used to be a very busy town, it is not a ghost town but it is not like it used to be."

John plans to retire now, although he said he may well look for a part-time job to pass the time.

We have always used this dry cleaners and had excellent service over the years. The sort of service they offered, - where they knew their customers personally, - cannot be replicated by the likes of a supermarket. Good luck in your retirement.
