British Transport Police detectives have re-released this CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a sexual assault at Manchester Piccadilly rail station.
This man, who travelled to Wilmslow station following the incident, is believed to have vital information about the sexual assault.
The re-release comes eight months after the incident and six months after the original appeal for information.
The incident happened shortly before 6pm on Wednesday, 10 April as the woman, a 23-year-old from Manchester, travelled on the escalator towards the Fairfield Street entrance.
DC Mike Gore said: "Eight months have now passed since the incident and previous attempts to identify this man have been unsuccessful.
"The image is extremely clear and I am convinced that someone will know who he is.
"It is imperative that we are able to trace him as I believe he is vital in bringing this investigation to a successful outcome and giving the victim a sense of closure.
DC Gore added: "As the victim travelled on the escalator towards the Fairfield Street entrance she was touched inappropriately.
"We believe this man travelled from Piccadilly to Wilmslow and travelled on from there in a white or silver BMW.
"I am now appealing to anyone who recognises this man to get in touch."
If you recognise the man, or can assist the investigation in anyway, should call British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111. In all calls please quote log NWA/B9 of 18/12/13.
