
The new, and improved, edition of CycleWilmslow's Wilmslow Area Cycle Map and Guide is now available.
The free publication shows suggested routes for cycling in Wilmslow, Styal, Alderley Edge and Handforth, whilst the reverse side of the leaflet contains a selection of rides to try out in the local area.
The guide was produced CycleWilmslow members alongside Active Maps of Knutsford; funding has come via Cheshire East Council, Wilmslow Town Council, Waitrose and National Trust. It can currently be collected from Wilmslow, Handforth and Alderley Edge libraries It can currently be collected from Wilmslow, Handforth and Alderley Edge libraries as well as Rick Green Cycles, Royles Cycles and Quarry Bank Mill.
The maps are also be available to download from cyclewilmslow.co.uk.
Rob Sawyer, Secretary of CycleWilmslow, said: "We are delighted to have produced the latest version of the cycling map. Working with Active Maps has allowed us to provide much more detail this time which we're confident people will find useful. We're very grateful for the financial support received that has made this publication possible".
CycleWilmslow is a community group promoting cycling; membership is free.

Could I ask how much CEC and WTC have contributed to this superb initiative?
WTC granted us £750 whilst CEC's contribution was in the region of £3000. These grants (along with other contributions from National Trust and Waitrose) were towards the map/guide and provision of cycle maintenance courses (we have run one in Handforth and hope to run further courses in Wilmslow and Alderley Edge this Autumn).
The map/guide can now also be collected from Wilmslow Leisure Centre, Handforth Health Centre, Heald Green Library and Knutsford Library.
