Burglars who tried to break into a Handforth home last night were chased off by the homeowner.
Police were called to a house on Derwent Drive at 9.26pm on Wednesday, 27th March, following reports of an attempted burglary.
A brick had been thrown through a glass panel on the front door and the homeowner chased the offenders who fled in a black Audi A3 which was parked on Marlow Drive.
Nothing was stolen.
