PROMOTIONAL FEATURE

Budding filmmakers in Wilmslow will be given a chance to develop their skills thanks to an exciting 'Film Making Easter School' being ran by Northern Creative at Dean Row Village Hall.

Between the 2nd and 4th April, young people aged from 8-13 will get the chance to work with industry professionals to learn how to make their own short films. Students will also get the opportunity to talk to professionals about career options and study routes into the film industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for young people who want to work in the film or television industry to boost their career prospects by expanding their understanding of the industry and learning about how films are made.

Working with industry experts and professional filmmakers, those on the course will have great fun learning about camera skills, editing, green screen technology, special effects, animation and sound FX.

Parents/guardians will be invited to a special 'popcorn premiere' at the end of the week where the films will be shown on the big screen!

The course is limited to 30 young people on a first come first served basis and will cost £65 for the full three days.
