Plans confirmed for Remembrance Sunday

The Wilmslow Remembrance Day parade and service will take place on Sunday, 11th November.

Organised by the British Legion, the Remembrance Parade will depart from the British Legion Club on Grove Avenue at 9.30am and proceed down Grove Street and Church street to St Bartholomew's Church for the service at 10am.

The parade will include British Legion members, police officers, Wilmslow town councillors, army cadets, air cadets, scouts, cubs, guides and brownies.

Following the service the congregation will make their way over to the Remembrance Garden for the two minutes silence and the wreath laying ceremony at 11am, before parading back to the British Legion where refreshments will be served.
