A coffee shop manager who has been known to walk, run, diet, shave his head, dress-up as Tinkerbell and be tattooed on his arm to raise money for his favourite charities is now going without food for a day.
Tim will be joined in his latest fundraiser by his colleagues from Starbucks on Grove street who will fast for 24 hours on September 30th.
They will be raising money for Mary's Meals, an international charity that establishes school feeding projects in African communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education.
Tim said "The international feeding programme provides a hot, nutritious meal every day for a year at a place of education for £10.70
"We want to see how much good we can do in just one day, we want to feed one hundred children and for that we need to raise £1070."
Tim added "While we can never fully appreciate the true hunger the children feel, one day of fasting from midnight to midnight will give us an inkling of what they suffer through every day.
"Remember, for us this is just one day, for millions of children around the world this is every day."
